What’s been happening:

Alaskan principal Mariah Thomas-Wolf and her husband Craig Thomas have three grown children and five grandchildren. With the exception of son Zachary who serves as a medic in the United States Air Force, all children and their families reside abroad. Mariah is an avid competitive dog-musher. During the school year, Mariah finds herself above the arctic circle in the remote coastal community of Point Hope where she works as the school principal. Summers she resides in the sport fishing town of Ninilchik on Alaska's Kenai peninsula. Mariah's team has competed in the All Alaska Sweepstakes, the Junior Iditarod, and the Kusko 300 dogsled races. Her experience in Alaska extends as far back as 1983. Since graduating from Penn State, Mariah has worked in education, counseling, and as a film/radio producer and freelance writer in Tallahassee, Seattle, and throughout the state of Alaska.
